Why am I running?
As your County Commissioner, I will be committed to transparency, accountability, and ensuring that every resident has a voice in local government. I believe elected officials should listen first, lead with integrity, and always put the interests of citizens ahead of politics.
About Me
I am a lifelong advocate for people, accountability, and common-sense leadership. As a management professional with experience in investigations and defendant advocacy, I have dedicated my career to listening to people, solving problems, and helping strengthen the communities I serve. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and have completed extensive graduate studies in Organizational Psychology. Throughout my career, I have worked to understand the challenges people face, build consensus, and find practical solutions to complex issues.
What do you see as the main responsibilities of a county commissioner?
As a Rutherford County Commissioner, I will support responsible development that pays for itself, improve roads and infrastructure before congestion becomes a crisis, and protect the quality of life that makes our community a great place to live and raise a family.
What are two goals you would like to accomplish during your term of office?
County government must focus on responsible development and improved infrastructure.

How would you accomplish those goals?
Encourage smart growth that balances residential, commercial, and industrial development.
Coordinate growth planning with schools, public safety, utilities, and transportation needs before approving large developments.
Prioritize improvements to congested roads and dangerous intersections.
Work with state and local agencies to accelerate road widening and traffic relief projects.
Support strong public safety services, including law enforcement, fire protection, and emergency response.
Promote parks, recreational facilities, and community gathering spaces for families.
Protect neighborhoods from overdevelopment and traffic congestion.

What do you see as the main responsibilities of a county commissioner?
The main responsibility of a county commissioner is to be the voice of the people and the best steward of the people’s tax dollars.
What are two goals you would like to accomplish during your term of office?
I would like to help LaVergne have a safer location for a more convenient Convenience Center and help keep our tax rate one of the lowest in the state.
How would you accomplish those goals?
I’m currently working with the LaVergne Mayor and the County Chief of Staff to find a new location for the convenience center.
I have and am currently voting on resolutions that help keep our tax dollars within Rutherford County for services that are being provided in other Counties ie Forensics Center that is being built without a tax increase to our citizens and will benefit the county and one day bring additional revenue.
