I have lived in Hamilton County my entire life. I was raised in District 6. Most of my time in Red Bank and a few years in North Chattanooga. I attended local public schools, raised my children here, and built both my personal and professional life in this community. My lifelong connection to Hamilton County gives me a direct understanding of its neighborhoods, people, challenges, and potential.

The greatest challenge I anticipate is rebuilding public trust while balancing the different needs of a growing district. Residents are concerned about schools, public safety, infrastructure, housing costs, taxes, and access to services. Addressing these issues will require careful budgeting, early public engagement, and collaboration across political lines. As an independent commissioner, I will focus on listening, asking the right questions, explaining decisions clearly to residents, and building consensus around practical solutions that improve quality of life without placing unnecessary burdens on taxpayers. I believe in adding value to people and want to add value to the quality of life of District 6.

I bring more than 20 years of customer service, operations, and problem-solving experience, including managing properties, supervising contractors, developing procedures, resolving conflicts, and ensuring accountability. As a lifelong District 6 resident, public school parent, and working father, I understand the pressures families face from rising costs, housing concerns, school needs, and limited access to government.

I have also spent years studying county government, attending public meetings, participating in community programs, and listening to residents before seeking office. I am independent, approachable, and willing to ask the right questions. I believe leadership should be measured by preparation, integrity, accessibility, and results. My combination of lived experience, operational discipline, community involvement, and commitment to transparent, responsible government makes me prepared to serve District 6 effectively.

I was born at Erlanger Hospital and have spent the majority of my life in Hamilton County. I went to school here, built my career here, and my wife and I are raising our family here. This community is home in every sense of the word. I care deeply about Hamilton County, the people who live here, and the future we are building together. It is a privilege to serve District 6, and I am proud to do this work on behalf of the people I call neighbors.

One of the greatest challenges we will face is managing growth in a responsible way. Hamilton County is growing quickly, and with that growth comes increased pressure on our infrastructure, our schools, and our housing market. We must plan carefully so that we are building the roads, schools, and public services our community needs while also protecting the quality of life that makes Hamilton County such a special place to live. That means making smart, long-term decisions, investing wisely in infrastructure and education, and working collaboratively with our city and state partners to ensure we are prepared not just for today, but for the future.

Effective public service requires listening to others, learning from every perspective, and having the courage to stand up for your community. My professional background has been in sales and business, where success depends on listening carefully, understanding people’s needs, and finding practical solutions. Those skills translate directly into public service. During my time on the County Commission, I have worked to be a thoughtful, collaborative leader focused on solving problems and delivering results. I care deeply about this community, and my decisions are guided by what will make Hamilton County a better place to live, work, and raise a family, not just today, but for the future. I believe my experience, my willingness to listen, and my commitment to this community make me well qualified to continue serving District 6.
