What experiences and skills uniquely qualify you for this position?
I am a lifelong Sumter County resident. I’ve called Bushnell my home for the past decade.
Through my profession I have learned a great deal about intergovernmental relations, responsible growth and development, and fiscal responsibility.
I have actively served in various leadership roles in my church including Trustee, Children’s Leader, Finance Team member and as a Strategic Planner.
I am involved in community outreach and enjoy any opportunity I have to serve.
The knowledge I have from being a lifelong resident, my experience in leadership and my involvement in the community will be an asset to the council as I am able to offer a deeper understanding of the needs and desires of the people of the city.
How will you involve the community in achieving sound public decisions?
I will be readily available for residents to contact me directly. I will listen to the concerns and stay informed about the current issues.
In addition, I will seek the counsel of business owners and locals prior to making important decisions.

Bushnell has a charming downtown, with new businesses coming into the area. Bushnell Plaza is well maintained and thoughtfully decorated. I see people using the pavilion and the park daily. The strategic plan lays out the vision and goals for the future of Bushnell. I support the direction that I see it heading. I will work to implement the plan that has been adopted and work with the staff to ensure we continue to meet our community's needs.
