EXPERIENCE: How does your experience prepare you for the duties of this judgeship?
As an Army vet, retired Police Lt., and community advocate, I’ve dedicated my life to public service. Currently, I meet monthly with residents to help them secure housing and long-term stability. Serving 4 years as an Elder Abuse Victim Advocate gave me vital experience protecting seniors. Decades in law enforcement taught me to objectively review facts, stay calm in crises, listen to all sides, and make fair, unbiased decisions—skills essential for the Orphans' Court.
PRIORITIES: What are your priorities for this judgeship?
My priority is to ensure the laws before the court are followed precisely and fairly. I will use my investigative and administrative background to carefully review every case, ensuring no ruling is rushed and all decisions are fact-based. Because the court handles sensitive family matters, my goal is to safeguard our most vulnerable residents while ensuring every family is heard and treated with empathy, dignity, and respect during difficult times.
CHALLENGES: What is the greatest challenge facing the Orphans' Court system and how will you address it?
The biggest challenge is that many voters don’t know what the Orphans’ Court does, often just checking a random name on the ballot. This court oversees highly sensitive family matters, like estates, wills, and guardianship appointments. Citizens come here during the most trying, emotional times in their lives. I will address this by actively educating the community about the court's vital role, ensuring voters understand why they need a judge who truly listens and respects every family.
