$50 trillion debt ($40 billion federal/$10 trillion state and municipal) and tax inequality 50 million people living in our society with no hope to advance 15,000 nuclear weapons and world peace

We need to restructure our federal debt to include a national VAT which would be progressive -- billionaires would pay much more to consume more. The federal government needs to intervene actively in blue states' finances and to force full financial disclosure via the SEC -- pension relief in exchange for cost and tax reductions. We need to shape the income tax curve so it fits lifetime earnings (lower rates for younger and senior citizens). We need to re-energize our dormant reparations commissions to address racially-based economic injuries in the past (i.e., slavery).

Worldwide we need to focus on economic linkages (e.g., with Russia, Ukraine, Belarus) so as to mimic the success of the EU in creating longer lasting peace.

The federal government sets the campaign finance guidelines. We should massively reduce spending on campaigns so as to diminish the unfair incumbent advantages: e.g., $100,000 per congressional campaign. We should enforce FCC monitoring of bias political coverage (e.g., Colbert flacking for AOC after two cops shot in Queens).

The Dems' responses about the (long-predicted) demise of DEI are incoherent: Rep AOC screaming about north vs south conflict and Sunday marches aimed at voting in Democratic Presidents for the next 40 years and THEN replacing the Supreme Court. This won't work. We should focus on the reparations commissions federally and at state levels and pursue a proven US legal path theory: the theory of damages and a straight path to compensation, an apology, and moving on in our society.

We should continue to diversify energy resources, invest in hydrogen power research, and continue tax credits for swapping out energy consumption.

We should be fully engaged.

The three biggest challenges facing our country are the rising cost of living, public safety and mental health, and the growing disconnect between government and everyday Americans.

Families are struggling with housing, groceries, healthcare, and utility costs. I support workforce development, infrastructure investment, and federal tax incentives for small businesses that hire locally within the communities they serve.

I also propose incentivizing struggling high school students by connecting them directly to union careers upon graduation. During their senior year, students should have access to programs that help them earn practical licenses and certifications, such as OSHA, security, food protection, and trade-related credentials, so they graduate job-ready with real opportunities.

Communities also deserve safe streets, stronger mental health intervention systems, and leadership focused on solving real problems instead of political theater.

The federal government has a responsibility to protect transparency, fairness, and public trust in our elections. Voters deserve to know who is funding campaigns and whether special interests are influencing elected officials.

I support stronger disclosure requirements for political donations and more accountability regarding outside spending in elections. I also believe members of Congress should be banned from insider trading and prohibited from using public office for personal financial gain.

At the same time, we must protect free speech and ensure that grassroots candidates without wealthy connections still have a fair opportunity to compete. The system should encourage participation from working-class Americans, not just career politicians and large donors.

The decision in Louisiana v. Callais highlights the ongoing national debate over representation, voting rights, and how electoral districts are drawn. I believe every American deserves fair representation and confidence that elections are conducted lawfully and transparently.

District lines should not be manipulated to silence communities or weaken voters’ voices. At the same time, courts and lawmakers must ensure that redistricting decisions follow the Constitution and protect equal representation for all Americans.

I support transparency in the redistricting process and believe communities should have meaningful input when district boundaries are being considered.

As someone with a professional background in energy management and infrastructure, I believe we should focus on modernizing the electric grid, improving building efficiency, investing in resilient infrastructure, and expanding workforce training for clean energy and skilled trades.

I also believe more engineers, scientists, and technical professionals should run for Congress and serve on committees related to their expertise. Too often, major policies and laws are created by people without real technical experience, sometimes driven more by politics, attention, or headlines than practical results. I plan to serve on congressional committees focused on energy and infrastructure, so real-world experience helps shape effective policy.

Climate policy should create jobs, strengthen infrastructure, and lower costs for working families.

The United States should remain engaged in international partnerships that strengthen national security, economic stability, and global cooperation. Organizations like NATO play an important role in maintaining stability and supporting our allies.

At the same time, America’s involvement in international institutions must always prioritize the interests, sovereignty, and security of the American people. We should support diplomacy, strategic alliances, and humanitarian efforts while ensuring accountability and responsible use of taxpayer resources.

I believe strong leadership means maintaining productive international relationships while remaining focused on the needs of Americans here at home.
