The three top priorities are 1) quality elementary and High School education and expanding gifted classes by merit and preserving the Specialized school and SHSAT and investing in CUNY and SUNY colleges. 2) Affordability in living costs and housing, and opposing the 86 Street proposed homeless shelter which fails to help the homeless but diverts City monies from programs which will help homeless people into the pockets of wealthy developers. 3 public safety and support of law enforcement

We should adopt programs which foster recycling, reuse and reduction of trash. We should ban contaminants which pollute our air and water and we should make a common sense transition to renewable sources of energy power

I believe state government should promote social and racial justice by policies encouraging better communication and contact with all diverse groups. Recognition of cultural holidays, such as the Lunar New Year as state holiday, celebrations of cultural and ethnic food specialities and cultural arts traditions will encourage all to know more about each other and learn each has more in common than divides them. Bringing diverse groups together in neighborhood events such as community cleanups, international food and cultural festivals and traditional holidays will also promote better understanding of the need to bring groups closer as working partners. Organizing transparency and community participation in important policy making and ensuring governmental decisions allow for true openness to the allowing for full input and participation by all in the impacted community will bring people closer together with government agencies and encourage better confidence in the decisions

The Callais decision continues to restrict states from using race as the sole basis for passing redistricting unless there has been a prior history of using race to discriminate or deny voting empowerment to a specific race or protected group. This decision makes it much more difficult to correct that wrong. Clearly in New York we must act to increase the accessibility to voting by all valid voters. This may be done by making It easier to apply for an absentee ballot, and by providing the ability to cure technical mistakes made by a voter in filling out their ballot. Also laws should be passed to make voting more accessible by expanding early voting poll site locations and times. We must prevent ineligible persons from casting ballots but we must also take measures to ensure more eligible persons have every opportunity to be able to have their counted.

My top three priorities that I've heard that needs to be fixed is safety , lower prices and taxes, cleaner streets and I would definitely handle this as an assemblyman.

We need to upgrade the sewer systems , electric grids .We have constant high rises that are being built and now ev go stations . Lately when it rains areas in the five boroughs are being flooded each time we have a storm. We need system upgrades and catch basin and sewer cleaning.

We had a few deaths due to flooding in basement apartments.

One of my priorities would be to modernize New York’s aging sewer and stormwater infrastructure. We continue to approve high-rise and large-scale development in communities where the existing sewer and drainage systems are already overwhelmed. That needs to change. If we are going to add thousands of new residents, we have to make sure the infrastructure can support them.

Before major developments are approved, communities should have a clear assessment of their sewer, stormwater, water, road, and electrical capacity. Where upgrades are necessary, developers should help pay for the additional infrastructure their projects require.

Involve constituents especially people from communities most affected by disparities in designing, implementing, and evaluating state policies.

Don't redraw the congressional map for 2026 There is no good reason for New York to undertake an emergency congressional remap just because Calais changed the federal legal landscape.
