What would be your top priority for action as Attorney General?

Protecting our children better and fighting corruption. We have a dismal record in prosecuting child phonography cases in South Carolina. I have a plan to drastically increase the conviction and incarceration rates on these cases. Finally, I am the only candidate running on an anti-corruption platform. I will fire all lawyer-legislators from no-bid government contracts and establish a Public Corruption Unit making it impossible for public officials to profit from their public positions.

Under what circumstances would the Attorney General's office participate in lawsuits against the federal government?

The Attorney General is the first line of defense when the federal government tries to tread on our state sovereignty. I will vigorously fight any federal policy or directive that encroaches on the rights of our state's citizens. For example, woke or progressive policies causing another shutdown like during covid or a federal directive instructing us on who can use a bathroom will be met with immediate court action. One thing I want to make sure of, however, is that South Carolina becomes the first state to file lawsuits against government overreach and not the 19th or 20th state. I want South Carolina to lead the way for a change.

What will you do to protect South Carolina citizens' right to reasonable and equal access to vote?

Cats Vote Records will be public when I am Attorney General. We will have transparency in our election process.
