Duties: The South Carolina House of Representatives shares responsibility with the SC Senate in making new laws, changing old laws and studying what outcome laws will have on the people in their districts and our state. Qualifications: State Representatives serve two-year terms and are considered part-time citizen legislators who are elected at-large by their district, and there are no term limits. State Representatives must be at least 21 years of age and must be a registered voter in their district. There are 124 State House districts which are re-apportioned after each census.Multiple in-person Early Voting sites are available during the 2 weeks prior to election day. 1. What are your top priorities for Legislative action during the next 2 years?
My priorities focus on economic stability, smart growth, and workforce readiness for District 105:
Affordability: As an economist, I will fight unfair utility rate hikes and property tax spikes under Act 388. I will establish a state minimum wage to ensure those who work in our community can afford to live here.
Infrastructure: We must prioritize local flooding mitigation and road safety over developer-driven mega-projects. We need smart, balanced growth that protects our neighborhoods.
Education: We need to stop micromanaging our teachers and invest heavily in a "skills-first" K-12 vocational model, using apprenticeships to prepare our kids for high-paying careers right here at home.

2. How would you balance the need for adequate infrastructure with the need to protect the South Carolina’s people and and our natural environment?
To balance infrastructure with conservation, we must transition from fast growth to smart, balanced growth. As an economist and Realtor, I know we do not have to sacrifice our natural environment to build a strong economy.
First, we must prioritize local community resilience over developer-driven mega-projects. This means halting reckless overdevelopment that destroys natural wetlands and instead investing heavily in aggressive flooding mitigation and local road safety.
Second, we must ensure developers pay their fair share for the strain they put on our infrastructure, protecting taxpayers and our landscape. By updating our infrastructure in harmony with nature, we secure a safer, sustainable and most of all beautiful South Carolina.
3. What actions would you take to improve access to health care and family support services for all South Carolina residents?
To improve healthcare and family support in South Carolina I will:
Close the Coverage Gap: I will champion a pragmatic safety net expansion using federal matching funds to stabilize rural hospitals and protect emergency care access.
Lower Costs: I will reform restrictive Certificate of Need (CON) laws to increase competition and mandate upfront pricing transparency from insurers and hospital systems.
Workforce Pipeline: Using a "skills-first" model, we will build vocational and apprenticeship pathways in K-12 and technical colleges to train healthcare professionals locally.
Family Support: I will fund school mental health counselors, upgrade physical school security, and offer tax incentives for businesses providing workplace childcare.
