South Carolina State House District 61 Choose 1

Duties: The South Carolina House of Representatives shares responsibility with the SC Senate in making new laws, changing old laws and studying what outcome laws will have on the people in their districts and our state. Qualifications: State Representatives serve two-year terms and are considered part-time citizen legislators who are elected at-large by their district, and there are no term limits. State Representatives must be at least 21 years of age and must be a registered voter in their district. There are 124 State House districts which are re-apportioned after each census.Multiple in-person Early Voting sites are available during the 2 weeks prior to election day. Growth is fine but it has to be done responsibly. Deterioration of Roads, Bridges, Flooding, Rapid Growth needs to be addressed. I need to hear from each resident to formulate what's right for Horry County.

3. What actions would you take to improve access to health care and family support services for all South Carolina residents?

Reduce insurance premiums and expand access to healthcare. Preserve Medicare and Medicaid.
