In District 25, too many families are being squeezed as housing costs rise faster than incomes. In parts of Greenville County, rents have increased more than 20 percent over the last few years, while many working families are still earning under $50,000 a year. I will push for policies that increase access to attainable housing, protect longtime residents from being priced out.
District 25 has a higher concentration of Title I schools and fewer high-paying job opportunities compared to other areas. I will work to bring real investment into our district, strengthen workforce development, and connect residents to careers that lead to long-term stability and wealth.
Voter participation in many local elections remains low, especially in communities like District 25. I will support policies that make it easier to register, vote, and stay engaged in the process, because our democracy works best when everyone has a voice and a fair opportunity to be heard.
