1. What partnerships would you support to improve public safety in the county?

72% of the Lexington County FY26-27 budget is for public safety funding. In my District there is a new west region public safety complex housing Fire, EMS, Sheriff Dept & Magistrate to open in May. This new station will improve emergency response times in Lexington County District 2.

2. What tools would you use to guide planned development in the county?

Reducing residential housing density in my District is a top priority. Currently being discussed is 3 homes per acre max on arterial roads. Already in place is 3 homes per acre max on collector roads and 2 homes per acre max on local roads. These zoning regulations will slow growth and allow time for infrastructure to catch up.

3. What steps will you take to ensure free and fair elections in the county?

The Lexington County Elections & Registration Department recently received an award for best management practices which is currently being used across the country to ensure elections are fair and voter count is precise.

4. What will you advocate for in the county's transportation improvement plans?

Current funding for road improvements isn’t keeping up with damaged roads. There needs to be a dedicated funding source for roads in Lexington County.

5. What are your priorities for action?

Slowing down residential development by reducing homes allowed per acre.

Seeking funding for road improvements.

Keeping public safety funded properly to ensure the safety of our residents as growth continues to increase the call volume.

1. What partnerships would you support to improve public safety in the county?

I support strong partnerships between law enforcement, fire and EMS, schools, churches, businesses, and community organizations. Public safety starts with prevention, communication, and community involvement. As the county grows, we must ensure public safety resources keep pace with growth so Lexington County remains one of the safest communities in South Carolina.

2. What tools would you use to guide planned development in the county?

I would use traffic impact fees, long-range planning, infrastructure capacity reviews, stronger development standards, strategic economic development, and conservation tools to guide growth. My goal is not to stop growth, but to ensure that development pays its fair share and that infrastructure keeps pace with development. Developments add to traffic and infrastructure demands, so they should add to the solution as well.

3. What steps will you take to ensure free and fair elections in the county?

I support secure, transparent, and accessible elections. As a County Council member, I would ensure our election officials have the resources they need, support compliance with state election laws, promote voter education, and maintain public confidence through transparency and accountability. Every eligible voter should be able to vote, and every legal vote should be counted accurately.

4. What will you advocate for in the county's transportation improvement plans?

I will advocate for road improvements, intersection upgrades, congestion relief projects, and long-range transportation planning across Lexington County. I support impact fees and dedicated transportation funding so growth helps pay for the infrastructure it requires. My goal is simple: fix the traffic, manage the growth, and put infrastructure first.

5. What are your priorities for action?

My priorities are infrastructure, responsible growth, public safety, fiscal responsibility, and economic development. We need to fix traffic congestion, ensure development pays its fair share, support our first responders, protect taxpayers, and maintain the quality of life that has made Lexington County such a great place to live and raise a family. Infrastructure first, responsible growth second, and always putting the people of Lexington County first.
