1. What measures do you support to ensure secure, accessible voting in South Carolina?
Election integrity is one of the most important issues facing us. South Carolina should move towards paper ballots and return to having just a few reasons for voting absentee/early. We should do our best to return to one election day.
Cast vote records should be available for election transparency during audits, protests and recounts.
South Carolina should implement our own version of the SAVE America Act. This would ensure strict ID requirements for voting and ensure that only US citizens are voting. South Carolina must halt the dissemination of voter registration forms to illegal immigrants.
2. What measures do you support to improve access to health care for low-income South Carolinians?
The Affordable Care Act has put South Carolinians in a bind and driven up costs.
Increased price transparency will increase market-based decisions.
South Carolina's rural medical service availability is one of the main drivers in access. The 2023 Certificate of Need repeal was a monumental change that provided the ability for more facilities to become available. We should strengthen the CON repeal even further.
Reforms to relieve the stranglehold that the state's few large health care providers will be the best way to provide access and bring down the cost for all South Carolinians.
3. What measures do you support for regulating data centers in South Carolina?
Data centers create few jobs, they create a huge increase in energy usage (costs) and drain our water resources, which are already in short supply.
Local communities should be empowered to stand against data centers when they do not want them.
Data centers must be self-sufficient, pay for their own resources and be contractually obligated to pay the price for higher costs for citizens that are related to the centers.
South Carolina's water supply cannot afford to be further diminished and if it means that some data centers cannot open and operate, then so be it.

1. What measures do you support to ensure secure, accessible voting in South Carolina?
I have co-sponsored numerous pieces of legislation over the past 8 years to secure and protect our election integrity. We have made great strides in SC, however I think we will continue to do more to give equal rights to all voters, however equal access also means responsible access only to LEGAL voters with proper identification
2. What measures do you support to improve access to health care for low-income South Carolinians?
Serving as the Chairman of the regulatory review committee, I will continue to cut burdensome regulations that raise the cost of healthcare across the board which is paid for by our citizens
3. What measures do you support for regulating data centers in South Carolina?
Data centers have a place and are needed, but only if they pay for their share of the grid and do not put the burden or hinder access to our citizens
