1. If elected, what are your top 3 priorities?

First, I will fight to roll back excessive regulations that are crushing farmers, truckers, and small businesses—especially policies coming from agencies like CARB that are driving up costs and forcing people out of this state.

Second, I will focus on strengthening California’s economy by supporting local industries, keeping jobs here, and making it easier—not harder—for people to work, build, and succeed.

Third, I will push for accountability and transparency in government. Californians deserve leadership that listens to the people, not special interests, and actually shows up to address real problems like water, cost of living, and public safety.

2. What background, experience and/or education qualify you for this elected office? (You may use your candidate statement here if desired.)

I am a California farmer, small business owner, and lifelong working-class Californian who understands firsthand the challenges people across this state are facing. I have spent my life working in agriculture, trucking, construction, diesel mechanics, and small business operations. I currently operate a farm producing crops and managing land, while also running a retail feed and agricultural business.

My experience is not from a political office—it comes from real life. I have managed employees, balanced budgets, dealt with rising costs, and navigated the growing burden of state regulations. I understand what it takes to keep a business running, make payroll, and survive in California’s economy.

I have also directly experienced the impact of state policies on water access, environmental regulations, transportation, and small business operations. These are not abstract issues to me—they affect my livelihood, my family, and my community every day. That perspective is what I will bring to this office.

In addition to my business and agricultural background, I have been actively engaged with the public through my campaign, building a strong grassroots following and connecting with voters across the state. I listen to people, take their concerns seriously, and speak plainly about the issues that matter most.

I may not come from a traditional political background, but that is exactly what California needs right now. We need leadership grounded in real-world experience, not career politics. My background gives me a clear understanding of the problems—and the practical mindset needed to help fix them.

3. The Lt. Governor is chairman of the Commission for Economic Development. What would you do in that role to try to improve the economies of the poorest parts of California?

As Chairman of the Commission for Economic Development, I will focus on bringing opportunity back to rural and working communities.

First, I will work to reduce regulations that are driving jobs and small businesses out of California.

Second, I will support key industries like agriculture, energy, and manufacturing that already provide local jobs.

Third, I will expand trade and vocational programs so people can earn good wages without leaving their communities.

Most importantly, I will ensure these communities have a voice in the decisions that affect their future.

4. The Lieutenant Governor sits on the UC Board of Regents and the CSU Board of Trustees. What are your ideas for the future of higher education in California public universities and colleges?

Higher education in California must become more affordable, practical, and accessible.

First, I will push for cost control and transparency so students are not buried in debt for degrees that do not lead to real opportunities.

Second, I will support expanding trade programs, vocational training, and partnerships with industry so students have multiple paths to success, not just a four-year degree.

Third, I will ensure universities focus on preparing students for the workforce, especially in areas like agriculture, energy, and skilled trades.

Education should create opportunity, not debt, and it must reflect the needs of California’s economy.

5. What are your benchmarks for measuring your success in this office?

My success will be measured by real results, not headlines.

First, whether jobs are being created and businesses are staying and growing in California, especially in rural and working communities.

Second, whether costs are coming down for everyday Californians, including energy, housing, and doing business.

Third, whether people have more opportunity, including access to good-paying jobs and career pathways.

Finally, success means government is more accountable and responsive to the people, not special interests.

If people can live, work, and succeed in California again, then we are on the right track.

1. If elected, what are your top 3 priorities?

As Lieutenant Governor, I would bring a different skill set to this work. I am a mediator and a trained hostage negotiator. My whole career has been built on stepping into difficult situations, listening carefully, lowering the temperature, finding common ground, and working toward practical solutions. California does not need more political theater. It does not need more talking points or more excuses. It needs leadership that knows how to solve problems under pressure. If elected, my top three priorities are public safety and stability, the homelessness crisis, and affordability. I chose these three because they are not abstract political talking points. They are the issues people are living with every single day.

2. What background, experience and/or education qualify you for this elected office? (You may use your candidate statement here if desired.)

My background uniquely qualifies me for this office because my career has been built on leadership, public service, problem solving, and working through high-stakes conflict. I am a professional mediator and trained hostage negotiator, and for more than two decades I have helped people in difficult situations find common ground and reach practical solutions. That experience matters because the Lieutenant Governor’s office requires judgment, calm under pressure, and the ability to bring people together when interests conflict.

I also bring real-world public service experience. My work has centered on listening to people, understanding the facts, and helping move matters toward resolution instead of division. In a time when California is stuck in political gridlock, I believe those are exactly the skills this office needs.

In addition, I am a businessman, husband, and father who has lived in California for decades and raised my family here. I understand firsthand the pressures families face around affordability, education, public safety, and opportunity. I was raised by a single mother, which gave me a deep respect for hard work, responsibility, and what it means when every dollar matters.

My education and training have been focused on communication, conflict resolution, and leadership. Combined with my professional experience, they have prepared me to serve in an office that helps shape higher education, public policy, and statewide decision-making. I am not a career politician. I am a problem solver, and that is exactly why I am qualified to serve as Lieutenant Governor of California.

3. The Lt. Governor is chairman of the Commission for Economic Development. What would you do in that role to try to improve the economies of the poorest parts of California?

As chair of the Commission for Economic Development, I would focus that office on the parts of California that have been left behind, not just the places already winning. I would focus on bringing jobs, investment, and real opportunity to the parts of California that have been left behind. My priority would be to connect economic growth to workforce training, local hiring, and infrastructure so poorer communities are not just talked about, but actually included in the state’s economic future.

I would also push for accountability. These communities do not need more promises, they need measurable results, more jobs, stronger small businesses, and clearer pathways into careers.

4. The Lieutenant Governor sits on the UC Board of Regents and the CSU Board of Trustees. What are your ideas for the future of higher education in California public universities and colleges?

My vision for higher education in California is simple: if a student is willing to work hard, college should be affordable, clear, and obtainable. I would focus on lowering the real cost of college, not just tuition, but housing, books, transportation, and fees, while pushing the UC and CSU systems to reduce waste and direct more resources to students and instruction. I would also work to create clearer pathways, especially for transfer students, foster youth, first-generation students, and students with disabilities, so they can get in, stay on track, and graduate on time. And I want higher education tied more directly to real opportunity, with stronger pathways into careers in medicine, teaching, engineering, and public service.

5. What are your benchmarks for measuring your success in this office?

First, did we improve life for everyday Californians in the areas where the Lieutenant Governor has real influence, higher education access, affordability, public trust, and statewide leadership on major issues. Second, I would measure success by whether the office is producing real outcomes, not just activity. That means more affordability discussions tied to action, stronger oversight on the UC, CSU, and Community College boards, better focus on student access and waste reduction, and a clear record of using the office to bring people together and push meaningful solutions. Third, I would measure success by trust. Do the people of California feel heard? At the end of the day: did we leave California better we found it.

1. If elected, what are your top 3 priorities?

1. Stand strong for Immigration Reform and Support All Legislation that keeps families together. (Lt. Governor can Co-Sponsor Legislation) 2. Add More Responsibility to the Lt. Governor's Office by adding the Department of Industrial Affairs to the Office of the Lt. Governor's Constitutional Responsibilities. Taxpayers should not be paying Six-Figures to politicians who accept standing still. Lt. Governor of California should not be the Governor's side piece. 3. Re-Introduce the 2-year bachelor's degree and, upon approval, embrace Community College Campuses into pure Trade School Teachings and Certifications to be ahead of the upcoming Trade School Boost. My agenda will give Californians a boost to match economic demand.

2. What background, experience and/or education qualify you for this elected office? (You may use your candidate statement here if desired.)

I am 25 years old, and I embrace the inexperience. For the Last decade of my political awareness, those in power now have told my generation to take a seat, and they will take care of us. Establishment Politicians have failed us and I am no longer in the mood to stand still. I am one of the few in my age group to attempt State Executive Office, and I believe it is time for the new Generation of Leadership to take their seat at the table. Californians deserve honest leadership with ambition beyond their own gain, and California Politicians are spilling their ego with State policies that hurt California. I am an ambitious individual who believes that we should be living our best possible lives, where Government reads the room instead of shutting us out. California is an extremely strong state, and I want Californians to feel proud of their State and who represents them into the future.

3. The Lt. Governor is chairman of the Commission for Economic Development. What would you do in that role to try to improve the economies of the poorest parts of California?

Elevate Education pathways with High School to Local University Partnerships to guarantee higher education. As Lt. Governor, I want to reduce the Bachelor's Degree to two years and have Community Colleges embrace Trade School Teachings and Certifications to meet the upcoming Trade School Boost. These items in my agenda would level the playing field for high-income in the poorest parts of California. Accessible Education is a necessity.

4. The Lieutenant Governor sits on the UC Board of Regents and the CSU Board of Trustees. What are your ideas for the future of higher education in California public universities and colleges?

Accessible Education is a non-negotiable. An educated country is a strong country. As Lt. Governor of California, I plan to reintroduce the 2-year bachelor's degree and, upon approval, embrace Community College Campuses into pure Trade School Teachings and Certifications to be ahead of the upcoming Trade School Boost. My agenda will give Californians a boost to match economic demand.

5. What are your benchmarks for measuring your success in this office?

The Lieutenant Governor of California does not have a plate full of responsibilities, and it has been decades since we last re-evaluated the role. I know I have been successful when the Lieutenant Governor's Constitutional Role is given more responsibility and is seen as an equal partner to the Governor and not as President/Vice-President. We deserve more than to pay six-figure salaries to politicians who do not seek more but to settle. The answer will always be no until we ask, and I am the only Candidate in this race with the Reality that we must ask for more to achieve more with the cards dealt within the Lieutenant Governor's Office.

1. If elected, what are your top 3 priorities?

1) Protecting Immigrant Families California must lead in defending immigrants. I’ve taken ICE to court and won, protecting families from deportation. As Lt. Governor, I’ll push laws to hold abuses accountable, end for-profit detention centers, and expand rapid response networks. Families belong together.

2) Affordable Homes & Stable Rents Rents over $2,800 are unsustainable. I’ll expand rent control, stop corporate buyups of housing, and protect tenants. Corporations shouldn’t own single-family homes. I’ll push policies to increase homeownership and access.

3) Divest & Invest California must divest from companies tied to oppression abroad and invest in schools, healthcare, and housing at home. Public funds should serve people

2. What background, experience and/or education qualify you for this elected office? (You may use your candidate statement here if desired.)

I moved to the U.S. at 7 and grew up in Southern California. My family didn’t see the legal system as a place for justice, but something to fear. To change that, I went to Harvard Law School to fight for my community. There, I spent two years in eviction defense, representing mostly immigrant families against slumlords. I challenged abusive policing, endured unsafe housing conditions, and organized tenants in buildings without heat. I also led the Sword and Shield Coalition, a network of seven Boston housing justice organizations, where I coordinated biweekly strategy calls focused on rent control and tenant unions.

In 2023, I graduated and moved to Kern County to work as a civil rights attorney with the ACLU of Southern California, specializing in immigrant rights. I’ve worked closely with the United Farm Workers and the UFW Foundation. I represented the UFW Foundation in a case challenging Kern County’s practice of coercing plea deals without informing people of immigration consequences, and the UFW in a successful case that stopped unlawful immigration raids in the county.

I am also a leader in the Kern Rapid Response Network, where I train volunteers as legal observers and rapid responders, accompany individuals to ICE check-ins, and organize Know Your Rights workshops. I work with partners across California to push for the closure of immigration detention centers. On weekends, I visit people in detention or volunteer to help with asylum applications and DACA renewals.

Lastly, at the ACLU I served as the grievance officer for my union, where I brought 12-15 grievances against management every year. I've seen firsthand the power of collective organizing and solidarity, and I've seen how much unions change people's lives for the better.

I’m running for Lt. Governor to ensure California defends immigrant and farmworker communities, makes housing affordable, guarantees healthcare for all, and aligns our investments with our values by reinvesting in our communities. I’ve never held office before, and I see that as a strength. I’m not a career politician-I’ve been on the frontlines, holding systems accountable and fighting for justice. That’s the leadership California needs.

3. The Lt. Governor is chairman of the Commission for Economic Development. What would you do in that role to try to improve the economies of the poorest parts of California?

I believe the economy works best when working people can actually get ahead. That’s why I support a $21 minimum wage and taking on corporate price-gouging and corruption. When wages rise and families have real protections, people can afford housing, healthcare, and education—and small businesses benefit too. Right now, people across California are working hard but falling behind as costs outpace wages. Families are stretched just to cover rent, food, and gas, while harmful federal policies make it worse. We need to break corporate control of politics, fight for stronger protections for our unions, make corporations pay their fair share, and build an economy that works for all of us.

4. The Lieutenant Governor sits on the UC Board of Regents and the CSU Board of Trustees. What are your ideas for the future of higher education in California public universities and colleges?

CalSTRS and CalPERS, among the world’s largest funds, invest in companies tied to Israel, including its military, settlements, and surveillance. Meanwhile, the UC system’s $34B endowment includes firms profiting from apartheid and genocide. As a UC Regent, I would vote to divest from companies like Chevron, Microsoft, Google, and Amazon and reinvest in affordable housing and food for students. College was once free before Prop 13; while it remains important, we should reform it to ensure large corporations pay their fair share—funding free tuition for public universities and trade schools.

5. What are your benchmarks for measuring your success in this office?

In this role, I want to be a tool for our communities to achieve the goals they are aiming for. But, I believe the only way we can do this is by changing people's hearts and minds and building power within our communities to make systematic change. At the core of this campaign, we are here not just to elevate me, but to Getting people more involved in our politics and building power among our communities
