My top priority for the 2023 session would be to educate myself on the bills being presented and use my experience and judgement to make the best decision as representative for my District 3 constituents. My decision making on the many bills, resolutions and regulations that come before the 14 House committees would be made by first seeking the Bible for advice on the issue; second, would be as a husband and father and asking myself if there is a negative or positive consequence to Idaho families; third, as a small businessowner and asking what the benefits or detriments to Idaho small business and employees would be; and finally, asking if this legislation will increase or decrease freedom and limited government to Idaho citizens.
I am a businessowner in the fields of financial services, the medical industry and land development. My wife and I have a passion for community involvement with local non-profits and have been involved in community outreach locally. My experience over the last 17 years in business and in various industries have given me unique perspective to bring to the Legislature.
The most significant challenge that Idaho is currently facing is the increasing threat to our liberties. Idaho has been a beacon of individual liberty and freedom and is a wonderful place to raise a family, build business, retire and recreate. It is my desire to make sure that Idaho remains a free and prosperous state for future generations.
I am born and raised in North Idaho and I love where I live. My wife and I are raising our 5 children here and want to see Idaho remain a free, prosperous and conservative state. I have started and sustained business in North Idaho and know that when Idaho business succeeds, that the Idaho people succeed.
