To continue our progress to build the new Offices and County Jail. This major project is now under construction and is scheduled to be completed by November of 2025. This will give the county the proper facilities to serve our needs for the next 50 years. We will continue to hire, retain, and train the best Deputies and Staff members. I will continue work with all members of the criminal justice system to maintain safety and protect the quality of life of our Greene County residents. We will continue to work closely with other local, state, and federal agencies to share valuable resources. We will continue to train as many of our road and corrections staff in "Crisis Intervention" (CIT) training. Our Deputies, Corrections Officers, and staff will continue to be strong advocates for "Victims Rights". We will to continue our emphasis on improving community engagement activities and crime prevention efforts. I will strongly support our constitution and our 2nd Amendment rights.
I am an Army veteran with 39 years of experience in Law Enforcement. I have held many different special assignments during my career. I have served in command level assignments related to Patrol Operations, Administration, and Investigations. I served as the Director of the Greene County Agencies for Combined Enforcement (A.C.E. Task Force) for 4 1/2 years before becoming the Chief Deputy in 2021. My career also allowed me to receive many specialized supervisory trainings that include the Northwestern University School of Staff and Command and the FBI National Academy. All of the positions, assignments, and specialized training I received have helped me to effectively assume the office of the Greene County Sheriff.
