Relevant employment and/or volunteer work I have served on the Village Planning Board for the past six years. I am active in a variety of local non-profit organizations including the Ithaca Children’s Garden and Syracuse Speed Skating Club, and formerly Family Reading Partnership, Franziska Racker Centers, and the CHES PTA.
The Village is a fantastic place to live with a wonderful community. With proper planning and management, we can foster development and business growth while enhancing the livability of our community. I have been honored to represent our Village for the past 6 years and look forward to working towards its continued improvement.

My Goals as a Trustee:

• Invite and consider input from the residents on all important Village matters. • Continue to sustain Village infrastructure and services in a fiscally responsible manner. • Expand and support business development. This includes seeking creative solutions to the issues facing the Shops at Ithaca Mall. • Consider alternative energy solutions for the Village and its residents, and address the NYSEG gas moratorium. • Expand the walkability of our Village. This includes proactively adding sidewalks, especially in places where safety is at issue. • Increase and improve public park spaces and Village trails.
• Invite and consider input from the residents on all important Village matters. • Pass new sidewalk code to require developers to install sidewalks when seeking a special permit • Expand Village participation in all green energy programs and grants offered by NYS • Participate in joint municipality boards and committees
