Education After my twin sons were born, I went back to school on nights and weekends to earn certifications in engineering. Throughout my career, I continued to pursue professional certifications at area community colleges.

The riots in St. Louis have been a national embarrassment. As State Senator I plan on supporting our law enforcement officers by giving them the tools they need to restore law and order to our state. I'll work tirelessly to combat the rise of heroin and opioids in our community. Lastly, I'll continue fighting to allow hardworking families to keep more of what they earn through tax relief, as I did by supporting the Missouri's first income tax cut in a century.
Voters want elected officials who share their values. In the State Senate, I'll work to support our law enforcement officers who keep us safe. I'll work to stop Missouri's opioid epidemic. And I'll fight for broad based tax relief that allows working families to keep more of what they earn. My values are consistent with our district and why I am the best qualified candidate to serve our community.

Missourians who work hard should be able to support their families, send their kids to great public schools and never worry that getting sick will mean going bankrupt. We must repeal so-called right to work, fully fund our public schools and universities and restore funding to the Missouri RX program and in-home healthcare services that have been cut by the Missouri legislature.
I was raised in Northeast Missouri and have lived in the 8th District for most of my adult life. I share the values of regular families in my community - that hard work should pay enough to live on, that all children deserve a quality public education and that affordable healthcare should be available to all.
