As the Clerk of the Court for 18 years I have been responsible for the daily operation and administrative management of the department including oversight of more than 8 staff members, budget preparation, records management and reporting of millions of dollars annually. In addition I have worked with other departments and have gained an understanding of services provided by these departments. Many of the duties and functions as Court Clerk are a natural transition to the duties and responsibilities of the Town Clerk position.
If elected I would look to continue the services provided to residents and expand upon them wherever possible, including the option of mobile services to reach those residents unable to utilize the services offered at Town Hall.

The role of Town Clerk is to interact with the constituency on a daily basis to issue permits and licensing, as well as to fufill the fiduciary and vital statistics requirements as mandated by the State of New York. I have a lengthy work history in constituent service, as well as budget management and analysis. I ran for this seat in 2007, now that it is an open seat, I am running for it again.
I would like to create more availability of online services, increase the number of services available at the Clerk's office, as well as to adding office hours that better confrom to a modern day schedule. logo
