Experience 13 yrs previous Board of Education experience, 32 yrs managing people in various levels of management. Raised six children all of which graduated from Bethel-Tate Schools
Thirteen yrs previous Board of Education experience during a time when money was very tight and building new schools were necessary. I have held positions in management from front line supervision through Operations Manager. I have managed budgets and up to 300 people on a day to day basis and able to facilitate solutions to problems.
Funding is always a challenge at the Bethel-Tate School District. We had to cut much prior to passing our emergency levy to fix our infrastructure and now must use the operational funds frugally.
Grow our services to our students to enhance their life long learning capabilities and give them the educational background to serve them well throughout their lives. I want to stabilize our services within the District to run seamlessly and service the community. We could have many new Board members this year and I hope that my experience will be a resource for their Board experience. I will work passionately to improve our curriculum to raise the bar for our students outcomes. I will support our Leadership as well as all staff in the district for the good of the District. logo
