Town where you live Bucoda WA
Experience (300 characters max) 2009 City council member. Involved in President Bush Campaign. Candidate for Mayor for the City of Salem, Oregon in 2000. Active in many political campaigns all of my life.
I decided I could not take the ruinous trend that the Town of Bucoda was taking. Many people were losing their property to tax collectors, among them Ms. Cathy Martin, our X Mayor, who believed that she could help the town, but she ended up being a victim like many others were.
1. Funds taken without anyone's approval. 2. Stagnation due to inertia. Our local government is not responsible to anyone except to the so-called mayor of the town. 3. The deterioration of the town is obvious; if you are late with your utilities payment and even if it's due to their negligence, they will charge a late fee and send a shut off notice. There is no way of getting help from the council or mayor.
Anytime a citizen is being mistreated, criticized, ridiculed and abused, the authorities must be involved. Properties can go down, but if you destroy the citizen--there is no building up anymore.
The reestablishment of their self-worth in the use of their optimum qualities. Many would like to be counted and I will use their knowledge and power to help in the progress of our town. My motto is: Change brings progress.
Without concern or remorse, we shall follow the rule of law.
The arrogant and abuse of others has pushed people out of the Town of Bucoda in a non forgiving and irrevocable way.
Through St. John's Church, the town can offer asylum to all suffering homelessness. logo
