Elected to the Hospital District (1) in 2011 I would be grateful to the voters to continue on the board to complete numerous projects that are ongoing such as the new therapy center and future remodeling of the older section of the building. The Board has worked together with just one agenda. "Make Klickitat Valley Health Better." I truly believe that with the remodeling of the new clinic there has been an upswing of both Doctors and high level P.A.'s than in the past forty years. As a county hospital we now employ over 200 personnel that are the best in the business. Yes. It is a business that was over 1.5 million dollars in debt with very little 'cash on hand' to cover any emergency. We have worked hard to make some very difficult decisions that now we show a positive bottom line, however, increasing the amount services to our community. If you have not had the opportunity to visit KVH in the last year please stop by our administration office for a tour. Thank you kindly. Mark

Lots of experience with people in general. Sometimes this is not an easy assignment. Experience with budgets is very important. We have to be careful with a $20 million dollar budget. I am close to many of our outstanding employees to get feedback and ideas on campus over site. I'm a good listener to anyone with a concern. My name and number are in the phone book! logo
