After supporting my family with their dreams and desires for so many years, I have decided to do something that interests me, and that is to be involved more in the community in which I live and love. I have gained numerous skills working in the community through my continuously active involvement with my sorority, as well as through activities within my church. I strongly believe that everyone should seek to assist in the success of the city in which they reside through some level of hands on involvement at some point in time of their life.
The top three priority issues that the city of Auburn Hills should address are as follows:
1. Continuous environmental improvements of historic and new development areas that are safe and properly maintained.
2. Attracting businesses and residents that take pride in the city with both physical and financial support on a regular basis.
3. Encouraging residents and businesses to proactively support the growth of our educational system i.e., the public schools, colleges, universities, etc. that reside within our city, through events that involve preparing young people for careers that align with the needs of the businesses located in our city.
