To maintain what is currently the lowest property tax rate of any township in the county. To continue to provide great services to the residents and businesses. Most of all I will continue to listen and respond to any issues that arise in the community, and to take a common sense approach to the situation. Sycamore Township has not had a levy on the ballot for over 10 years and we would like to see that continue..

Common sense! I believe in transparency because without it there cannot be a Democracy. I believe in term limits, because often the position is abused with a sense of entitlement and power.
I'm not a politician but I have experience to draw from. I was a Sycamore Twp small business owner,10 yrs, a company's brand mgr, university teacher, published author. Many know me as the "Music Professor" 40 plus yrs on radio.I'll open communication
Change the culture to be more resident & business friendly. Improve transparency & communication.Residents don't know that millions of dollars have been spent on property which remains unmaintained I want us to continue to have the lowest property tax in the county.
Remove the median on Kenwood Rd near Graeters. Safe ambulance navigation & easy businesses access is a must.
As a new trustee I'd add an additional 3-6 EMS/Fire members, administration help & a 3rd ambulance for residents safety.

I am a fiscal conservative that believes our residents can spend their hard earned money better that government can. My priority has always been low taxes, great economic development to keep those taxes low, excellent safety services, and great roads and parks. Our taxes are the lowest township taxes in Hamilton county. We just added 9 additinal Fire/EMT personnel and 4 additional Sheriff's Deputies. We also staff more personnel in our stations than all of the communities around us.
I am a business owner and have also served for 11 years in zoning and 12 years as a trustee. In addition, I am the President of the Hamilton County Township Association, where we continue to share services to lower costs for all of the townships.
(1) Continue to diligently work on development in our Kenwood Business District to broaden our business tax base in our JEDZ, so our residents will not bear the burden of increased taxes.
(2) Keep Safety Services at the existing peak performance with both manpower and equipment to meet the needs of our residents. Also continue to keep our existing third ambulance running at all times.
(3) Continue to keep our roads the best in the region, maintain leaf pickup and great snow removal.
