Community Involvement Past grand knight with the ravena knights of Columbus. Past Master with the Albany masons. Volunteer with St Patricks church spaghetti supper.
Experience and Qualifications I have worked for the NYS department of corrections for 35 years and have been a facility hearing officer for the past 17 years. I have tried over 251 cases in the prison system. I have been trained in labor relations, ethics and mediation.
Biography Graduated from Ravena Coeymans Selkirk in 1978 with a regents diploma. Attended SUNY Delhi where I received a degree in hotel Restuarant management. Attended SUNY Oswego where I earned my teachers certificate in vocational education. Taught in the prison system for 16 years. Got promoted to food service administrator in 2000 and deputy superintendent in 1010
Occupation and Special Skills Administrator, educator, chef, proprietor of Freses Catering Service
Acted as the facility hearing officer for the past 17 years. This is judicial system within the prison system that copies that in the public sector.
I pledge To be fair, and impartial. Educating myself in the laws I must preside over. Weighing the evidence, to issue a firm, fair and consistent verdict. In order to be an effective judge, you must understand the laws, know the various penalties. And render an impartial decision. logo
