Identification, transparency, familiarity with your community in seeking viable solutions are hallmarks of my approach to facing any issue. One of the most important issues facing anyone in office in New York State is determining a budget that provides for any tax increase to remain beneath the tax cap outlined by Governor Cuomo, while preserving vital, essential services that Harrison residents deserve.
My position is to continue to search for viable solutions to the housing crises. Everyone deserves fair and affordable housing opportunities in every and any municipality. Determining equitable solutions is an ongoing concern.

The most important issues facing my office is working within the budget to stay within the State guidelines for the star program. To expand the Senior Citizen programs, New Recreation building including gym, locker rooms, wellness center, basketball court, Senior meeting rooms, daycare center, and new parking facilities for handicapped Citizens.
I am in favor of following the State and Federal guidelines on fair and affordable housing. We are continually looking at all opportunities to create more availability.

We need strong fiscal management to limit spending and cut waste. Decisions should be reached by consensus, with residents treated with courtesy and respect. Sadly, many people have felt ignored by our current Town Council. Town business should undergo public scrutiny, with information freely and widely shared. My nonpartisan approach will correct a system with too much concentrated power. I will be guided by careful analysis and resident input, using judgment honed over a 25-year career.
Harrison is a welcoming and diverse community. We want to provide affordable housing options for our seniors, workers and young families. We need to ensure that we have adequate incentives in place to encourage builders to include affordable housing units in new or rebuilt projects. The Carraway apartment complex to be located in the Platinum Mile, in which 10 percent of the units are slated for affordable housing, is a promising development. logo
