Education H.S.: Valley Forge Military Academy College: Saint Joseph's University Earned a Bachelor of Science Degree In Accounting. In order to maintain my CPA license I am required to complete 80 hours of continuing accounting education classes every 2 years.
Qualifications During my 35 years as an Accountant, I have had extensive experience dealing with every responsibility of the County Controller's position including, but not limited to in depth experience with auditing, financial reporting, developing and managing budgets, taxes, investing, pension trustee, insurance, payroll, actuarial analysis, extensive business management, and financial planning, I truly believe my professional experience best qualifies me for the office of County Controller.
Municipality I have been a resident of Haverford Township in Delaware County for more than 30 years and volunteered for more community programs than this small space would permit me to list.
I am running for the position of Delaware County Controller because I want to use my many years of experience as a Certified Public Accountant and businessman to ensure our $550 million annually budgeted tax dollars are spent in a fiscally responsible manner and that spending is monitored utilizing sound and well-established general accounting principles. I see too many neighbors and seniors struggling to pay their mortgage or bills because of other tax burdens. I would also bring invaluable experience to our fully funded County pension fund which has a current balance of close to $500 million

Municipality Middletown
1. Bring the Office in line with best practices, including making reports and audits easily accessible to the public, and ensure compliance with laws. 2. Create a fraud and abuse line to enable reporting of suspected irregularities and problems, a method used by most other counties to protect taxpayer money. 3. Implement recommendations made by the Dept. of Justice Inspector General and outside auditors who identified deficiencies in County systems that could jeopardize County funding. logo
