Norvell Township Public Safety Millage Proposal
Shall Norvell Township, Jackson County, Michigan, be authorized to levy a new additional millage annually in an amount not to exceed 2 mills ($2.00 per each $1,000 of taxable value) for ten (10) years, 2026 through 2035, inclusive, to provide funds for the purpose of operating, equipping, purchasing, and making capital expenditures for police, fire, and emergency medical services, including ambulance services? The estimate of the revenue the Township will collect in the first year of levy (2026) if the millage is approved is approximately $391,000.
