The Mayor of Little Rock serves as the city's chief executive officer, setting the comprehensive vision, preparing the municipal budget, and overseeing major city departments.
I have served 30 plus years on the Little Rock City Board. Since the death of Bruce Moore our citizens are not being treated with respect and not receiving services that they need. We have diminished the services we have a mandate to perform. Our residents pay the bills through sales taxes, franchise fees, property tax etc. and unfortunately when they reach out to City Hall they receive a push back or no response. Our residents deserve the services they pay for.

Restore public safety in the city by filling vacancies that are open in the police department, doubling the number of community resource officers and enforcing code violations. Add additional police officers with a strategic target of hiring veterans from the Armed Forces. 13% of our graduates go into various branches of service and at the end of 4 years they are ready to come home. In addition, I will drive my own car and will not have a security detail freeing up police officers to do their job of protecting our residents.
