To maintain and enhance the quality of life for the citizens of Sherwood. To responsibly use the money collected from taxes to ensure that the quality of life is maintained or enhanced.
I've worked in local television news, the governor's office, and in agencies within state government. All contributing to the levels of needing to listen, ask tough and relevant questions, to understand the issue(s) fully, and how they affect real people.
I want my administration to be open for business and to the public. Communication has been fairly one-way in the city for a while, and as a former journalist, I'd like to see that open up more. People do need to be responsible with it, but I look at it as the city doesn't know what it doesn't know. I want our business community to thrive with those who are currently here and those who want to start coming on over.
