Gila County Recorder 2 years
County RecorderThe county recorder maintains public records for personal and/or business purposes, including documents such as real estate transactions, mortgages, deeds, and trusts. This office is responsible for processing and maintaining voter registration records for elections and administering early voting, including mailing early ballots and providing on-site early voting locations. The recorder’s office also verifies voter signatures on early ballot affidavits and petitions when required by law. 4-year term. Why you should care:With a vast majority of Arizona citizens getting mail-in ballots and the popularity of on-site early voting locations, voters rely heavily on the programs managed by the recorder’s office. Many county residents will interact with their recorder’s office to file or obtain copies of the legal documents for which the office is responsible. For additional information:https://www.azcleanelections.gov/how-government-works/arizona-county-recorder
