I have held the position of Ward 3 Alderman for about 5 months. I was appointed to fill long time alderman Bill Donner's position after he passed away. I've had a rapid learning curve with some very divisive decisions. What I have tried to do is contact people in Ward 3 and simply ask what they want. That said, I feel my number 1 duty is to represent the people of Ward 3 and be involved in the community. We need to continue "smart" growth in our city, not growth just to have growth. I've learned there is a process in which ordinances are changed. My job is to do the homework to ensure the changes fit in our community and make a positive change for our community.
I have been a business owner for over 20 years. CTS Services has been based in Benton since 2013. We've grown from 3 people to over 20. Our roots are based here. During the process of starting my business with virtually no "business" classes, I've learned the hard way at times how to manage people, clients, growth, cash flow, profit/loss and all the other battles fought to keep a business going. I've started and sold another business that served our community in the last few years as well. I am very strong in my faith!! I feel as long as we keep God at the forefront of the decisions and pray for his wisdom and guidance we will continue to move our city forward.

I am always available and I will always respond and communicate when our residents have questions, problems or just want to vent. Even though I've only been in the position a few months, I have had many calls and questions about the City Council. I don't always have the answers, but I will get them!
