I'm a South Lyon Community Schools parent and current Board of Education trustee. I was appointed to the Board in 2025 and am running for a full six-year term to continue serving our students, families and community.

Professionally, I spent more than a decade in advertising and communications, including serving as an Account Director at Doner. My career taught me how to manage complex projects, balance competing priorities, communicate with diverse stakeholders, and make thoughtful decisions based on facts and data. I also serve as Secretary of the South Lyon Area Democrats and am a member of Leadership Oakland, experiences that have strengthened my commitment to civic engagement and community service.

I'm running because I believe strong public schools are foundational to a strong community. I bring experience, curiosity, strong communication skills and a willingness to ask difficult questions while working collaboratively.

1. Student success, inclusion and equity: Every student deserves the opportunity to succeed and to feel safe, welcomed and valued at school. I support strong academics while addressing attendance, student well-being and educator needs. I would use data and listen to families and staff to identify disparities and ensure students are treated equitably and have access to the resources and opportunities they need to thrive.

2. Safe, high-quality schools: Students and staff deserve safe, healthy learning environments. We need to provide strong oversight of the bond program, promote transparent communication about spending and timelines, and ensure concerns are addressed using reliable, independent information. I have already advocated for independent evaluation and mitigation related to the proposed Project Flex data center near our schools.

3. Financial sustainability: I support transparent, data-driven budgeting, and carefully evaluate the long-term impact of major decisions.
