St. Andrews Public Service District is a special purpose district created by the S.C. General Assembly for the purpose of providing fire protection, refuse removal, wastewater services, street lights, and street signs to residents West of the Ashley. Currently, SAPSD serves approximately 22,000 residents. SAPSD consists of two Commissioners from Section I, two Commissioners from Section II, and one Commissioner who serves as Member-at-Large.
