Comstock Charter Township Proposal To Renew Law Enforcement Millage
Shall the expired previously voted charter millage for the Charter Township of Comstock of 1.0 mill ($1.00 per $1,000 taxable value) for law enforcement services, as reduced to .9920 mill ($0.9920 per $1,000 taxable value) by the required millage rollbacks, be renewed at up to .9920 mill ($0.9920 per $1,000 taxable value) and levied for four years, 2026 through 2029 inclusive, to provide funds to be allocated for law enforcement services, a portion of which may be disbursed to Kalamazoo County or such other or fewer local units of government as the Township Board determines appropriate, which levy will raise an estimated $813,904 in the first year?
