Affordability is the greatest challenge facing Maine. People want to be able to pay their bills, stay in their homes, and have something left over to enjoy their lives. Between housing, property taxes, heating, groceries, and healthcare, too many Mainers feel like they’re working hard but never getting ahead.
In District 16, I want to address the challenges that make it harder for people to afford to stay in their communities. That includes housing shortages, property taxes, and access to healthcare, especially following the closure of Inland Hospital.

We need to help communities repair existing homes, bring vacant buildings back into use, and expand infrastructure where it can support more housing. We also need to address PFAS contamination, which has put homeowners and farmers in difficult situations through no fault of their own.

Our district has downtowns, small businesses, and farms with tremendous potential. I want to help them grow while making sure the people who already live here can share in that progress.
I want voters to know that service has been a constant in my life. From ten years in the Air Force to helping small businesses grow in Central Maine and now teaching at KVCC. I care deeply about people and the places we call home.

Through my work in entrepreneurship and historic redevelopment, I’ve learned how much persistence it takes to turn an idea into something that actually helps people. That’s the approach I would bring to Augusta: listen, ask questions, work with others, and follow through. I won’t pretend to have every answer, but I will take your concerns seriously and put in the work. You deserve someone who is accessible, honest, and focused on making everyday life better.
