Members must be citizens of both the United States and South Carolina and be at least 21 years old. State representatives create and amend state laws, pass an annual state budget, and redraw district lines every 10 years.

Voting is a fundamental right that requires protection and empowerment across all methods: Election Day voting, early voting, and mail-in balloting. Protecting the right to vote means vigorously opposing legislation that undermines voter access.
Every South Carolinian deserves access to quality, affordable healthcare—regardless of where they live or how much they earn. We should expand Medicaid and properly fund healthcare so families can access the doctors, hospitals, mental health services, and preventive care they need. That means strengthening rural hospitals, supporting healthcare providers, and expanding coverage so no South Carolinian has to go without care simply because they cannot afford it.
I'm not anti-data center in all cases. I'm anti-data center when the cost of building and running that data center gets passed along to utility ratepayers with hidden breaks for data centers. If local communities want to allow a data center to be built based on the rules and needs of those communities, I support that as long as ratepayers don't get stuck with the bill.
