Winnebago County Clerk of Courts
The mission of the Clerk of Courts and Courts is to provide the efficient dispensation of justice in all legal matters brought before the Courts. The Clerk of Courts maintains all official court records filed with the Court. Additionally, the Clerk of Courts is responsible for jury management, exhibit management, annual reports, budgeting for the courts and related functions, collections of monies owed to the County and State, annual court calendars, as well as providing an administrative link between the Judiciary, County Executive, County Board, and the public.
