Richmond Township -Renewal for General Operating
“Shall the expiring previous voted increase in the tax limitations imposed under Article IX, Section 6 of the Michigan Constitution in Richmond Township, Marquette County, Michigan, of 2.5000 mill ($2.50 per $1,000.00 of taxable value of real and tangible personal property) reduced to 2.3915 ($2.3915 per $1000.00 of taxable value) by the required millage rollbacks, be renewed at and increased up to the original voted 2.5000 ($2.50 per $1000.00 of taxable value) for a period of five (5) years, from 2027 through 2031, both inclusive, for general operating purposes, raising an estimated $80,000.00 in the first year the millage is levied”.
