General Operating Millage Increase Headlee OverrideIt is proposed that the current operating millage levied by Bath Charter Township be increased by 1.4652 mills. This increase would restore the Township’s authority – which was reduced by law – to levy a total of 5 mills. The increased millage, subject to applicable rollbacks, would be levied from 2026 through 2035 and the additional money raised would be used for general operating purposes. If approved, the general operating revenue for the Township would increase by about $893,000.00, allowing for a grand total of approximately $3,050,000.00 raised for general operating purposes in 2026.
