Benton Charter Township Fire and Emergency Medical Services Millage
It is proposed that the current fire protection and emergency medical services millage of 1.9461mills be renewed. Benton Charter Township is levying this millage to provide funding for fireprotection and emergency medical services, including any necessary capital equipmentexpenditures, for the Township. Each year, this millage will cost you about $97.00 per $50,000of taxable personal and real property. The millage will last from 2026 to 2029. If approved,approximately $264,000 will be raised for fire protection and emergency medical services in thefirst year it is levied. Should this millage renewal be approved?
