II. PROPOSAL TO AMEND EAST LANSING CITY CHARTER PROVISIONS RELATING TO ORGANIZATION OF THE CITY COUNCIL To establish consistency with amendments to state election laws that extend the timing for certifying elections, shall Section 4.4 of the East Lansing City Charter be amended to adjust the timing of City Council’s election of one of its members to serve as Mayor and one to serve as Mayor Pro Tem to occur at a meeting held on the Tuesday following the certification of each regular election?
