My qualifications come from a combination of my education, training, and hands -on experience. Through my previous roles, I have developed strong skill in communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and time management. I also gained experience working for UPS as a supervisor and following company procedures while consistently meeting performance expectations.
I see two of the most pressing issues facing Clay County as managing growth and maintaining public safety. Clay County has been growing rapidly, which creates challenges with traffic, infrastructure, schools, and ensuring that public services keep pace with the increasing population.
I believe my training, experience, and personal characteristics make me a strong candidate for this position. My training has a UPS supervisor prepared me to understand procedures, policies, and respond professionally in a variety of situations.
Northeast Florida's growth present both significant challenges and exciting opportunities. one of the biggest challenges is making sure our infrastructure keep pace with growth. that includes roads, traffic congestion, school, utilities, park, and emergency services.
As a County Commissioner, I believe the goal is to balance growth with preserving what make Clay County a great place to live to live. That means making responsible budget decisions, working with development, protecting our natural resources, and listening to residents before making major decisions.
