Town of Preble Democratic Party Committee {_getChooseLabel(this.selections.length)}

County party committees are the local organizing bodies for the larger, national political parties. County committees shape how each party operates locally, determine who receives party endorsements, and how campaigns are supported. Under the rules of the Cortland County Democratic Committee and New York State Election Law, party committee members serve two-year terms. Local committee members are elected during even-numbered primary elections (such as the primary in June of an election year).

As a Democratic Committee member, I will represent the Democratic Party in Preble by strengthening our organization, encouraging civic participation, and supporting future Democratic candidates seeking town positions. I am committed to listening to community concerns, sharing these insights with my fellow committee members, and working collaboratively to develop practical solutions.
My goals are to be transparent, listen to concerns and communicate effectively with community members. As a committee member, my responsibility is to represent the interests of the Preble community and ensure that residents’ voices are heard in the decision-making process.
I am committed to reducing barriers, increasing transparency, and fostering meaningful community involvement to strengthen civic participation and empower residents. I will work with the committee to bring forward issues affecting all residents of Preble for open discussion. I support holding regular meetings, organizing around key local concerns, and collaborating with the party structure to increase overall engagement in the political process, including the consideration of candidates who best represent all residents.
