MI MC Fruitport Charter Township Police Department Renewal Millage Proposition
Shall an expiring increase on one (1) mill, reduced by required rollback to 0.9845 mills, in the limitation on the total taxes which may be assessed against all property in Fruitport Charter Township, Muskegon County, Michigan, for all purposes in any one year, be increased and renewed for five (5) years, 2026 through 2030, inclusive, in the amount of one dollar ($1,00) per thousand dollars of taxable valuation (1.0 mill), to provide funds for police protection purposes; and shall the Township be authorized to levy up to all of the tax? The estimated revenue the Township will collect if the millage is approved and levied in 2026 is approximately $810,805.00.
