MI MC Fruitport Charter Township Public Safety Renewal Millage Proposition
Shall an expiring increase on one and one-half (1.5) mills, reduced by required rollback to 1.4892 mills, in the limitation on the total taxes which may be assessed against all property in Fruitport Charter Township, Muskegon County, Michigan, for all purposes in any one year, be increased and renewed for five (5) years, 2026 through 2030, inclusive, above the 15 mill tax limitation, in the amount of one dollar and fifty dents ($1.50) per thousand dollars of taxable valuation (1.5 mills), to provide funds for police and fire public safety services; and shall the Township be authorized to levy up to all of the tax? The estimated revenue the Township will collect if the millage is approved and levied in 2026 is approximately $1,216,208.00.
