Saline Area SchoolsSinking Fund Millage Renewal ProposalThis proposal renews millage and will allow the school district to continue to levy thebuilding and site sinking fund millage that will expire with the 2027 tax levy.Shall the currently authorized millage rate of .3394 mill ($0.3394 on each $1,000 oftaxable valuation) which may be assessed against all property in Saline Area Schools,Washtenaw County, Michigan, be renewed for a period of 10 years, 2028 to 2037,inclusive, to continue to provide for a sinking fund for purchase of real estate for sites for,and the construction or repair of, school buildings, for school security improvements, forthe acquisition or upgrading of technology, and for all other purposes authorized by law;the estimate of the revenue the school district will collect if the millage is approved andlevied in 2028 is approximately $975,421 (this is a renewal of millage that will expire withthe 2027 tax levy)?
