BLISSFIELD TOWNSHIP FIRE GENERAL OPERATIONS, DAYTIME STAFFING AND SPECIAL EQUIPMENT TRUCK MILLAGE RENEWAL
Shall the previously authorized increase in tax limitation on all taxable property in Blissfield Township, Lenawee County, that expires in 2027 be renewed and the Township be authorized to levy a millage annually in an amount not to exceed 1.0 mill ($1.00 per each $1,000 of taxable value) against all taxable property in the Township for a period of five (5) years, 2028 through 2032, inclusive, for general operations, daytime staffing, and special equipment truck purposes for fire service? The estimate of the revenue the Township will collect in the first year (2028) if the millage is approved and levied by the Township is approximately $188,000. A portion of the revenue collected may be subject to capture by the Village of Blissfield Downtown Development Authority.
