Qualifications and Experience From 2023 to 2026, I immersed myself in understanding Arizona’s government and the challenges facing our residents. After years of advocating for change and encountering systemic barriers, I concluded that many of Arizona’s problems stem from failures in state leadership. Seeing these challenges firsthand inspired me to run for Governor because meaningful reform cannot wait. I am not a career politician. My goal is to serve effectively, improve Arizona, and leave office after two terms with a stronger, more accountable state. As a lifelong Arizonan from Glendale, I have experienced adversity, recovery, education, public service, and business leadership. Despite leaving high school at 16, I earned advanced degrees (Masters and PhD) and spent more than a decade serving Arizonans in behavioral health before founding a statewide healthcare organization. These experiences have prepared me to lead with integrity, transparency, and evidence-based solutions focused on improving quality of life
Memberships & Affiliations I am a licensed therapist in Arizona, licensed by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners and credentialed as a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I maintain active professional memberships with the American Counseling Association (ACA), the American Association of Suicidology (AAS), the Association for Play Therapy (APT), EMDR International Association (EMDRIA), the American Psychological Association (APA), and the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (ACES). These affiliations reflect my commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professional practice, continuing education, and evidence-based care.
Endorsements I am focused on earning endorsements from small businesses, community leaders, and everyday Arizonans rather than political action committees (PACs) or large corporations. My campaign is built on grassroots support, local engagement, and the trust of the people and communities I seek to serve.
Community Service For the past 18 years, from age 23 to 41, I have dedicated my life to service. My journey in recovery ignited a deep commitment to helping those who are suffering, overlooked, struggling, or without a voice. That calling has guided both my personal and professional life. I have traveled internationally to serve communities in places such as India and Africa, but my greatest commitment has always been to Arizona—the state where I was born, raised, and continue to serve every day. Throughout the years, I have served on numerous committees and coalitions, volunteered with organizations including the Red Cross, HandsOn Greater Phoenix, NotMYkid, and the Arizona Counselors Association, and provided behavioral health trainings and professional education programs across the state. My service has also extended through my church communities, where I have volunteered for many years and participated in countless outreach efforts, including feeding and supporting individuals experiencing homeles
Education I earned an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice, a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Arizona and hold specialized certifications in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Animal-Assisted Therapy (AAT), with a focus on treating severe trauma and complex behavioral health conditions. In addition to my clinical work, I am the Owner and Chief Executive Officer of Teri’s Health Services, an integrated healthcare organization that provides medical, psychiatric, and counseling services to individuals and families across Arizona. Through both my professional practice and leadership experience, I have dedicated my career to improving access to quality healthcare, supporting vulnerable populations, and strengthening communities throughout our state.
WATER CONSERVATION Arizona must act now to secure its water future. As Governor, I will implement proven conservation programs, reduce reliance on the Colorado River system, advance desalination and alternative water projects, and require responsible water use from high-consumption industries, including data centers. PUBLIC SCHOOLS & ESA I support public schools and school choice with full accountability. I will audit public, charter, private, and ESA-funded programs to eliminate fraud and waste. Schools receiving public funds must provide financial transparency, protect student privacy, and demonstrate results. Funding should follow students while prioritizing classroom resources and support for disadvantaged schools. STATE REFORM & AFFORDABILITY I will reform state agencies, strengthen oversight, combat Medicaid fraud, expand behavioral health services, and address homelessness. By improving water security, reducing waste, lowering utility costs, increasing housing opportunities
Address water and ensure water is sustainable with long term solutions in place in AZ; Housing: expand housing construction by reforming zoning restrictions & permit timeframes, convert vacant buildings to residential; healthcare: stop fraud and waste, expand clinics, create a state program to reduce healthcare cost; energy: create competition in industry to lower cost, responsible development of solar by community safeguards in place, rebates for energy and water efficiency; childcare: universal free childcare 0-K, workplace childcare option rebates; insurance: strengthen consumer protection for unfair practice & increase transparency in insurance pricing; fuel: regulate gas station owners right to increase prices, develop housing closer to reduce commute; taxes: audits state funding, data centers pay taxes; water: long term projects implemented immediately; workforce: expand college connections, high school entrance programs, and college scholarships, stop inflation to wage increases
As Governor, I will prepare Arizona for rapid growth, extreme heat, drought, wildfire risk, and rising infrastructure demands while protecting taxpayers, natural resources, and future generations.

I will strengthen water security through conservation, groundwater recharge, water recycling, desalination, and responsible growth policies that reduce dependence on the Colorado River and ensure sustainable supplies.

To address heat and wildfire threats, I will expand forest restoration, wildfire prevention, emergency response capabilities, cooling infrastructure, shade projects, and community preparedness efforts. I will support a reliable energy future through grid modernization, infrastructure upgrades, battery storage, and a diverse energy portfolio capable of meeting growing demand. I will invest in highways, roads, bridges, transit, and freight corridors to improve safety, reduce congestion, support economic growth, and accommodate Arizona’s expanding population.
As Governor, I will make water security one of Arizona’s highest priorities. The state faces growing challenges from Colorado River shortages, groundwater depletion, drought, & rapid population growth. I will expand conservation programs, strengthen groundwater management, increase water recycling, & advance long-term solutions. New development must demonstrate sustainable water supplies, & high-water-use industries will be held accountable through responsible planning and conservation requirements. I will work closely with farmers, municipalities, tribal nations, water districts, businesses, and neighboring states to protect Arizona’s interests in Colorado River. I will support conservation programs, efficiency improvements, and innovative technologies that help farmers remain productive while reducing water use. I will coordinate state agencies, support strategic infrastructure investments, pursue federal funding, & ensure water policy is guided by science & transparency.
To fund these priorities, I will conduct comprehensive audits of state agencies and programs to identify fraud, waste, abuse, and inefficiencies. Savings from government reform, Medicaid fraud prevention, improved procurement practices, and agency modernization will be reinvested into essential services. I will also maximize available federal funding and pursue public-private partnerships where appropriate. I will expand access to care by creating health care agendas that leave no person left behind from having health insurance. I will work to increase access to affordable childcare through targeted assistance, employer partnerships, expanded childcare availability, and implementing a free universal childcare program. I will also support food assistance programs and community organizations that help families meet basic needs during difficult times.
As Governor, I will advocate for comprehensive federal immigration reforms that strengthen border security, improve legal immigration processes, reduction of asylum backlogs, ensure due process is occurring for detainees, ensure detention centers are safe and providing basic needs, create a safe environment for federal law enforcement, policies to support illegal immigrants who have been in Arizona without criminal activity to go through a fast-track process to legal immigration. My goal is a balanced approach that secures the border, protects Arizona communities, respects tribal partnerships, and upholds human dignity and the rule of law.I will support cooperation with federal authorities, nonprofit organizations, and local governments to ensure migrants receive appropriate medical care, temporary assistance, and processing while maintaining public safety and protecting state resources.
I will support investments in election security: cybersecurity protections, equipment upgrades, regular audits, chain-of-custody procedures, & training for election officials. I will work with county recorders, election departments, and state agencies to ensure elections are administered consistently, professionally, and transparently. I will support funding for election administration, tech modernization, and voter education programs. I will review legislation based on whether it strengthens election integrity, protects voter access, improves transparency, and complies with state and federal law. When necessary, I will use veto authority to oppose measures that undermine public confidence, create unnecessary barriers for eligible voters, or weaken election security. I will also use the office’s public leadership role to promote factual information, encourage civic participation, support peaceful and lawful election processes, and reinforce confidence in certified election results.
I will strengthen oversight of education funding by requiring regular audits, transparent financial reporting, and accountability measures for all institutions receiving public funds. Public education dollars should be directed primarily toward classrooms, student services, educators, and academic achievement. My administration will work to prevent fraud, waste, misuse, and unnecessary administrative spending while protecting the long-term financial stability of Arizona’s public education system. To ensure equitable access to higher education, I will support need-based financial aid & scholarship opportunities. I will work to increase teacher recruitment and retention through competitive salaries, expanded classroom support, reduced administrative burdens, rebates, and stronger pathways into the teaching profession. I will protect school choice and focus on improvement in all children's education pathway.
