BARK RIVER TOWNSHIP FIRE DEPARTMENT RENEWAL MILLAGE PROPOSAL
Shall the tax limitation on general ad valorem taxes within Bark River Township, Delta County, imposed under Article IX, Sec. 6 of the Michigan Constitution, be renewed at a rate of 1.5 mills ($1.50 per $1,000 of taxable value) for a period of 5 years, 2028 to2032, inclusive for the purpose of providing funds for fire protection, the Bark River Township Fire Department and equipment? The estimated revenue generated from the 1.5 mill that will be collected in the first year that the millage is renewed and levied will be $75,000.00.
