I have been a County Legislator since Jan. 1, 2011. Prior to that I served on the Elmira School Board for 11 years. I held the roles of President and Vice President. On the Legislature, I have served on the Budget Committee, Corrections and Law Enforcement Committee and Chairman of the Highway Committee. I have been a member of Sub Committees for Term Limits and Live Streaming of legislature meetings. I have served on the Chemung County Industrial Development Agency, Chemung County Transit Board, Traffic Safety Board, Elmira Chemung Transportation Council, Office of Aging and Long Term Care Board and Cornell Cooperative Extension Chemung Board.
Fighting New York State's unfunded mandates, keeping taxes stable, seeking more economic development, supporting local businesses and continue responsive constituent service.
